“Islam, which is God’s law, is evident in nature which is around us; for by God’s commands alone move the mountains and seas, and the planets and stars, and they are guided in their orbit; they are subject to the command of God, the Creator, and so is every atom in the universe - even those which are inanimate. But man is exempted from this rule, for God has granted him freedom of choice; he may succumb to God’s command, or create and lay down his own law and follow his own religion that he accepts. Unfortunately he chooses the second route, in most cases!”
